## Clifton and Redland

Three northern neighbourhood choices with published dog-table, treats or all-area access details.

### The Clifton Sausage

**Dining:** British bar and restaurant

**Best for:** A full Clifton Village meal where you can ask specifically for the dog-friendly bar table rather than assume restaurant access.

**Dog rule:** Guests can request a dog-friendly table in the bar area, where the operator says food and service are the same as the restaurant.

**Summary:** Family-owned bar and restaurant serving freshly prepared seasonal British food all day.

**Practical:** Request the dog-friendly bar table when booking. Published food service ends at 9.30pm Monday to Thursday, 10pm Friday and Saturday, and 8pm Sunday.

### The Kensington Arms

**Dining:** British chophouse and pub

**Best for:** A Redland sit-down meal where the operator's published all-area pet policy gives more flexibility than a bar-only rule.

**Dog rule:** The Kensington Arms says it accepts pets in all areas of the pub.

**Summary:** Modern British chophouse and pub serving local seasonal fare, pub classics and Sunday roast.

**Practical:** Book meals as normal. Drinks-only reservations and terrace reservations are not taken, so outside seating cannot be guaranteed. If you move outside, your original indoor table cannot be guaranteed.

**Arrival:** Use the named Kensington Arms entrance at 35-37 Stanley Road in Redland. The operator says a ramp can cover the two steps into the main restaurant. There is no lift to the upstairs private rooms.
