East and West

Use the named access and seasonal hours

Both designated Pensacola dog areas require a leash, identifying tags and waste pickup. May 1 through October 31, they are open from 7 a.m. to sunset; November 1 through April 30, they are open from sunrise to sunset.

East is at walkover 28B on Via de Luna Drive; West is at walkover 21E on Fort Pickens Road, according to the 2026 SRAI access map. Those codes identify dune walkovers, not parking lots. Stay inside the signed dog area because other public beach areas and parks do not allow pets.
