The people behind Pet Storybook, and the people you can reach when you need a hand.
Real people? Yes. And we reply.
We know why you might ask. With so many new brands appearing online, it can be hard to tell who’s genuine. Scam websites and customer support that never answers make it harder to trust a small company.
We’re a small independent UK studio. We shared our first books with friends, and now make them for families who want their pet to be part of the story. If you need help, you can reach us directly.
One of our first gifts
We started by making storybooks for some of our closest friends and their pets. Their reactions meant more to us than we could have imagined. Seeing how much joy these little books brought them gave us the confidence to take the next step and share them with more families.
The first look.
And the hug afterwards.
Where are we based?
We live in the heart of London, and we absolutely love it. When we’re on holiday, you’ll usually find us outdoors. Closer to home, a little live music, especially a good folk gig, is our favourite way to reset. Who knows, maybe you'll see us at one.
Do we have pets of our own?

We each grew up with a dog, and between us we’ve also had multiple cats and hamsters. We’re absolute pet fans! They’re part of some of our happiest childhood memories. We don’t have one of our own just now, but working on Pet Storybook has reminded us how much we miss that companionship. We have a feeling a new member of the family might be joining us soon.
Have we had a few hiccups? Absolutely.
Sometimes we take a little longer
We’re a team of two. Occasionally, when we’re both away for a long weekend, a reply takes longer than we’d like. We do our best to get back to you and give your request the care it deserves.
One customer waited a few days while we were away. Once we were back, we worked through the changes to his story and sent the book to print. Here’s what he told us after the updates, and again when it arrived.
We’ve had books fail to arrive. One customer asked for a refund after a delivery problem. That’s a disappointing experience when you’re waiting for something personal, and it’s something we’ve had to learn from.
We’ve changed our fulfilment arrangements and tried multiple print and fulfilment partners, looking at the book itself and how reliably it reaches your door. We’ve found a UK-based print partner, and we’re really happy with them.
We can’t promise there will never be a hiccup. We can make sure there are people you can contact when you need help.
Little details, properly considered
Families have asked us to include specific names and details, and to correct the things that make their pet recognisable. Those requests help turn a personalised book into their book.
Stories that mean a little more
We’ve also adapted endings for families remembering a pet they’ve lost. We’re grateful to be trusted with something so personal, and to help them keep those memories close.
For life beyond the bookshelf
We also put together dog-friendly guides, with ideas for walks and places to explore together.
Fair question. We haven’t set it up yet. As a small, family-run business, we’ve spent our time finding the right print partners, listening to customers and working through their requests. We’ve also put a lot of care into getting the stories right, creating books that people love as much as the pets who star in them.
Trustpilot is still on our to-do list. In the meantime, this page is our way of sharing who we are, what we’ve learned and how to reach us.
